The Power Behind the Precision
At the heart of this setup is a 400V, 2500W infrared tube packed into a tidy 300mm length. That spec isn’t random. The 400V input gives you stable, high current without needing giant step-down transformers, so your electrical footprint stays manageable. And packing 2500W into just 300mm gives you the heat density needed to crosslink coatings fast. That power is what makes high line speeds possible. But it comes with a catch: the heat is intense. So your cooling and airflow have to be up to the job. If they aren’t, you risk overheating nearby components and sensors.
Quartz Halogen, Built for Speed
The tube uses a quartz halogen element for shortwave infrared. The payoff? It responds quickly and focuses the heat tightly. That means you hit target temperatures fast, and you can adjust on the fly when line speed changes. And the R7s connector? It’s a practical, field-proven choice. It handles the heat near the lamp end and makes the tube a simple drop-in replacement. No wrestling with custom terminals—just wire it up and get running.
Matching the Curve to the Coating
On a solar glass line, coating thickness and the glass itself can shift. Zone control flips the script: instead of forcing the coating to fit the process, you fit the process to the coating.
