How it actually works
Here is the thing: standard heaters just warm up the air. Infrared is different. It uses short-wave radiation that actually sinks into the surface of your walls and ceiling. Think of it like this: it finds the moisture hiding deep in your grout or paint and pushes it to the surface. Once that water hits the air, the heat flashes it into vapor almost instantly. It’s fast. Really fast. And because the water doesn’t just sit there, mold spores never get a chance to move in and set up shop.
Getting the temperature right
Mold loves cold, damp spots—usually anywhere under 20°C. By warming up those specific “cold zones” on your tiles, you’re basically making the environment uninhabitable for fungus. But you have to be smart about the power. If you go too big with the wattage, you’re just baking your fixtures. Too small? And you won’t hit the temperature needed to actually dry things out. It’s all about finding that sweet spot for your specific room size.
The catch
