Ever notice how traditional heaters feel? You turn them on, wait twenty minutes for the air to warm up, and you’re still shivering in the meantime. Recessed infrared heaters are different. They don’t bother warming up the air; they just beam heat straight to you. It feels more like standing in a patch of sunlight on a cold day. When you hook these up to a smart home system, you stop messing with dials and start letting the house do the thinking for you. If you’ve got a Zigbee or Matter controller tied to your heater, you can set a motion sensor to trigger the heat the second you step inside.
