In our experience, this simple bit of thermal help means you aren&amp;rsquo;t swapping out worn-out wheels nearly as often.&#xA;But it isn&amp;rsquo;t just &amp;ldquo;plug and play.&amp;rdquo;&#xA;These lamps pull a lot of power. You can&amp;rsquo;t just plug them into any old outlet; you&amp;rsquo;ll need a power supply that can actually handle the wattage.&#xA;You also have to be careful with the heat. If you go overboard, you risk warping the glass or causing thermal shock. It all comes down to the distance between the lamp and the plate, and the timing of the heat. Get that distance wrong, and you&amp;rsquo;re either dealing with glass that&amp;rsquo;s still too hard or edges that are starting to burn. It takes a little tweaking, but once you hit that sweet spot, it&amp;rsquo;s a completely different experience.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
